Our Fee Structure
We are committed to making quality mental health support accessible to all members of our community through affordable services. We offer all sessions at a affordable fee of $30 per 50-minute session, plus a small Halaxy processing fee applies to Initial Assessments, In-clinic and Online Consultations.
Fee structure for Couples Counselling and Family Counselling
We understand that relationships and families come with different challenges. Fees vary for Couples Counselling and Family Counselling, reflecting the tailored support, time, and coordination involved in supporting multiple people within one session.
Fees for:
- Couples Counselling: $50 per 50-minute session
- Family Counselling: $60 per 50-minute session
Note: We recognise that financial hardship can be a barrier to accessing care. Fee waivers may be available in special circumstances, please speak with our team in confidence if cost is a concern.
Rebates and Concessions
Please note that:
- Medicare rebates are not available for our services.
- Private health insurance and other concession-based claims do not apply.
Despite this, we aim to keep costs minimal to ensure everyone has access to mental health care when they need it.
Cancellation Policy
At Wellness Hub, we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late Cancellations: If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to the full session fee depending on the type of counselling service you were previously scheduled for.
No-Show Policy: If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.
How to Cancel or Reschedule?
Please notify us by phone – 03 8825 3501 or email – wellness.hub@mhfa.org.au as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client in need. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy, which helps us maintain accessible and affordable services for everyone. Donations
The Wellness Hub Psychology Clinic is run by the Mental Health Foundation Australia, registered under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Your donations help us keep services affordable and accessible. All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible, offering you a tax benefit while supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our community.
